Throughout the whole of May ‘Diesel UMusic RadiOoooo’ will be broadcasting from The Amersham in New Cross, London, will be encompassing all that is great about music: music: music…oh and art, design, fashion and pretty much anything that could possibly be classed as interesting in contemporary culture…

UMusic Radio will be a book-marked site and station that has global and local listeners - connecting with people who are both creators and followers of music and culture around the World…in the UK…in London…in New Cross.

Going from global to local we will provide a platform to broadcast to local people like you – ALL AROUND THE WORLD.

Our content remit will reach far and wide, and although featuring all the global programming, the station will have a uniquely British character. With music at the heart of the station, listeners will be offered an unprecedented explosion of live and recorded programmes and whether just a two minute sound-bite, a five minute audio diary or a two hour, mix all our programmes will have passion, personality and attitude.

There’s going to be bloggers, producers, labels, magazines you’ve heard of doing their thing but there’s also going to be plenty of room in the schedule for YOU to get on the AIRWAVES. (and wherever you are in the world, we want to hear from you):

…Maybe you’re a record shop owner who wants to tell the world what’s going down in your part of your town...maybe you’re a bassline/reggaton/bmore/dubstep producer and you know your tunes are fat; your friends know your tunes are fat but just need a platform to unleash them onto an unsuspecting public…maybe you live in New Cross and you want to give us a walkabout tour of the local area…maybe you’re a comedienne and you’ve got some jokes that need a good airing….maybe you just love cheese and you want to broadcast your love of it to the world….maybe you’re an undiscovered band that wants to hook up with like-minded people around the world...maybe you’re a trainspotting blogger who loves italo-disco…maybe you’re an ex-Goldsmiths’ student who wants to show some love…maybe you’re a sound-effects geek who just wants to broadcast a programme about unusual aural sounds…

Alongside all the programmes made by you, there’ll be live recordings from some of London’s finest club nights – recorded downstairs at The Amersham and exclusive interviews and audio diaries collected at Miami, SXSW, Coachella and in Glasgow, Berlin, Paris and Amsterdam.
