Tinashé: Mbira version of "Zambezi"
A prime example of why you should send a email and why you should check everything you're sent... here's one guy you can expect to be seeing on Jools Hollands soon me thinks. Got a lovely email from Tinashé today, introducing me to his music and totally won over. Amazing voice, reminds me oh so slightly of Get Cape in that department. Totally not what I was expecting. And he wears lumberjacks which is cool. Hattie Collins may get jeaous. Tinashé also sent me a tune he's done with Kissy Sellout which is an uptempo gravel train. Lovely stuff. Kano Postpones London Show
Due to a late change in the recording schedule for his new album, Kano will now be in America next week - consequently his live date at Koko in London has been postponed. The hometown headline show was planned for 10th November but will now take place in early 2010, with the exact date still to be confirmed. Tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled date, or ticket holders can claim a full refund at the point of purchase. Kano and everyone involved would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
