They Found Him A Gun

A rough diamond, from London to Ireland. I first heard Maverick, in his guise as a rapper, when he entered a competition to win a session with Plan B, while I worked at 679. There were a few entries which stood out but he was the clear winner. Semothy Jones and Ben Drew have been working with Maverick ever since. Following from a distance, I hadn't check on the MySpace for a while... but I've been missing out on something serious. Maverick Sabre is singing acoustic, and there's some really strong songs among the selection. Check 'They Found Him A Gun' and 'Hush A Bye Baby...'. If you'd like to see him live and happen to live in London, he'll be performing at Troy bar, this Thursday night. http://www.myspace.com/mavericksabre
