The Great Weed Drought

drug-haul, originally uploaded by chantelle.

This is no water shortage, stop using your hosepipe story, but the weed drought which seems to have hit many sides of London. And it couldn't have happened at a worse time than Carnival weekend. I've been looking for information or possible news stories which would explain the sudden desperation that is taking hold of many cannabis smokers, yet there's nothing out there bar the 5,000 kilos of cannabis taken as a result of a big drugs haul in Denia... and that is hashish. It's hit users so bad there are even requests for dealer details on forums coming from normally sane members of the public, including a number of professionals, not to mention the group emails and phone calls from people you didn't even know had your number. Can anyone shed light... or a number?

the hot weather this summer ruined many crops. plus there is heightened awareness of people of an asian origin who have strange smells coming from their homes or are seen with strange equipment. plus the dealers holidays and the airport nonsense. I blame the government for making everyone paranoid freaks!

no food anywhere it's a dammm shame but this might be the time to give it up? Shit, at the very least we should all be able to wait til it comes back.

Got people on here talking about big boys and shit. It aint got anything to do with big boys, the bottom line is that we smoke coz the government lets us smoke.

If they want to lock it down they will... This is their house!! Terrorism, draught this time of year, hot waether ruining crops?!?!? Come on PEEPS get real...

Doesn't anyone remember the special task force set up by the government earlier this year?? Desiggned to target high level crime, their like FBI and shit...

They are the ones that are locking down the food. Simple like this... TOOOOO much money leaves the country tax free at present. That can't go on. Now how do you stop this... HMmmm.

It'll all get better one day. For those of you that choose to smoke through the turbelent times, rock on with your bad self.

For those that choose to give up, you bad to.

For the punk, Mofo eeeediot that came on here and said we should smkoe Crack... Live your life like it's golden bro, live it like it's golden...... Peace.

There ia an excellent U.N report posted on the web which explains the drought. The amount of land used for growing in Morrocco has been reduced through government enforcement and this coupled with a drought brought on by this years
El Nino has meant a 40% reduction
in this years harvest.
