Going Going Gone...
I'm off for two weeks, taking a much needed break in a far sunnier destination... Egypt I'm coming back for you!
In my absence I highly recommend checking out Four Lions, the new film from Chris Morris starring my good friend Riz Ahmed who surpassed even my expectation. Definitely one of the British films of the year.
I also got to hear Giggs' debut album on XL Recordings yesterday. Out of the 12 tracks we heard 'Hustle On' was my fave along with next single 'What The Cat Dragged In'... The album's dropping June 21st so get your pre-orders in as and when you can. Definitely think it will be looked back on as a definitive hip-hop album, one that clearly firms Giggs as the closest thing to NWA the British have had.
In magazine news, look out for the next issue of Dazed&Confused which features pieces I've done on the boy wonder SB.TV, Lady Chann (who's riding high in Japan at the moment) and Devlin (one of Island's latest signings).
Gotta give a shout out to my Roll Deep peeps too for their number 1 with 'Good Times'... Looking like it might hold the top spot for a second week. If you haven't yet seen it here's there SB.TV special.
Also make sure you check out the new Dizzee Rascal & Chase & Status tune 'Heavy', it's one of the best things he's done EVER. Flow and beat are both ridiculous.
Last but not least play the next track LOUD.

Life On Wheels - The Movie
There are two ways to approach this video.
Firstly, Jody McIntyre, 19, is my hero. Not because he's my friend who happens to be in wheelchair and is setting about showing the world that this doesn't stop you being more than able to live a full life but because he's doing something most of us will never do. Jody is standing up for what he believes in by putting himself on the front line in a country he has no ties to other than that he believes what's going on there is wrong. He's being shot at, beaten, lived homeless with the family he was evicted alongside and the rest. Reading his weekly Life On Wheels blogs became a fix. Following a recent university tour in the UK and America we're now getting a taster of life in Palestine where freeing Gaza is an everyday battle. Jody, as ever, I salute you.
This is also a must-watch for anyone listening to the political rhymes of Lowkey who may be scratching their head as to where his passion lies and exactly what he's going on about.
